Welcome to Newbury Home! This is your source for timeless home decor, gardening tips, and elegant living on a budget.
If you’re new here, welcome! I’m Sasha. My husband, Matt, and I have slowly been renovating and decorating our Victorian home. One of my favorite ways to save money is by buying my own fabric and sewing and reupholstering things myself.

Get excited because Amazon is having a fabric sale! Now through Monday, thousands of fabrics are up to 35% off, and ship for free with Amazon Prime.
As you may remember, several months ago, I was battling fabric indecisiveness in my sunroom. I have two large walls of windows in that room and I needed to find a fabric to coordinate with my Lee Jofa Hollyhock sofa.

Earlier today, I decided to take another crack at choosing drapery fabric for my sunroom. So I pulled out my massive pile of fabric samples and set them on the sofa. I stumbled upon a blue and white striped sample that I forgot I had and realized that I had a winner! I was even more excited when I opened Fabric.com, which is owned by Amazon, noticed the incredible fabric sale, and realized the fabric I wanted was discounted by $7/yd!!
Here is the fabric I chose.

I hope you are able to find some great deals, like I was! Here is a sample of some of the fabulous fabrics on sale.
Sadly, Fabric.com closed in late 2022 (several months after I initially wrote this post). However, I’ve updated the links so that you can shop these fabrics from other sources.
