I don’t know about you, but I am dreaming of spring! Unfortunately, the hard freeze we had over the weekend killed most of the new growth in my garden and turned my many of my beautiful camellia blooms brown. While I wait for my garden to flourish again, I am dreaming of spring interiors – in particular, delicate florals, soft pastels, and small prints.
When I shared my updated plans for our sunroom, I had these trends on my mind. Here are some lovely floral and soft pastel interiors that have inspired me recently. It can be hard finding small print fabrics, similar to those used by popular interior designers, for less than $40/yd, but I managed to find a few and order samples. I am anxiously awaiting their arrival and will share more soon!
What do you think of these spring-inspired rooms? While I adore the grandmillennial aesthetic, I don’t think I could pull it off on a large scale – mostly because I don’t think my husband wants to live in a house full of what he calls “’80s fabric.” However, I think a sunroom is the perfect spot for a pop of florals and feminine pastels! I’ll keep the rest of my house more of a new-traditional style to cater to both of our tastes.
